Heroes Wellness House is a state-licensed Adult Residential Facility (ARF) dedicated to providing safe, structured, and compassionate care for disabled veterans. Located in the heart of South Los Angeles, our home is a refuge where honor meets healing—supporting veterans as they rebuild independence and wellness in a community that truly understands.

At Heroes Wellness House, we honor the sacrifice and resilience of every veteran by delivering person-centered care in a supportive residential environment. Our mission is to foster dignity, stability, and holistic well-being for disabled veterans navigating mental, physical, and behavioral health challenges.
What We Provide
Our Adult Residential Facility offers 24/7 non-medical care and supervision in a warm, homelike setting designed to meet the daily living needs of residents. Services include:

Safe, Supportive Housing
- Private and shared rooms in a secure, ADA-compliant home
- Nutritious daily meals and snacks
- Assistance with daily living activities (ADLs)
- Medication reminders and care coordination


Mental Health & Behavioral Support
- Access to licensed clinicians through local partnerships
- Trauma-informed care tailored to PTSD, depression, and anxiety
- Substance use disorder (SUD) recovery referrals
- Behavioral stabilization and relapse prevention support

Veteran-Centered Programming
- Peer support groups and veteran mentorship
- Life skills development and goal planning
- Community reintegration and social outings
- Referrals to VA benefits, housing, legal, and vocational resources

Culturally Competent, Trauma-Informed Staff
- Trained in veteran-specific care, de-escalation, and emotional safety
- Bilingual support available
- Staff-to-resident ratio that ensures attentive, individualized care
Who We Serve
Heroes Wellness House is open to adult veterans
(ages 18–59 or 60+) who:
- Are eligible under California Community Care Licensing for ARF placement
- Live with a qualifying mental health or physical disability
- May be experiencing housing instability, isolation, or barriers to community living
- Require supportive services but not skilled nursing or intensive medical care
We accept referrals from VA case managers, hospitals, behavioral health providers, family members, and self-referrals.
